What is Pherify? +
Pherify is a live proof handle platform. A person can create a Pherify handle, connect social profiles, and share a live proof page people can open before trusting an online profile.
Why should I ask someone to Pherify? +
If someone contacts you online and wants to meet, receive money, work with you, date you, sell to you, or collaborate, asking them to Pherify gives you a simple first step before you continue.
What makes Pherify different from checking someone's social media? +
Social media can show a profile, photo, username, followers, posts, or messages. But those things can still be old, copied, fake, inactive, borrowed, or controlled by someone else. Pherify is different because it gives the person one live proof page designed for the trust moment. Instead of asking you to guess from scattered screenshots, chats, or profiles, Pherify helps connect a Pherify handle with the social profiles the person chooses to claim.
Why can't I just use what I already have to verify someone? +
You should still use common sense, platform safety tools, video calls, references, payment protection, and any other checks that fit the situation. Pherify does not replace those tools. It adds a simple first step before online trust: a live proof page that is harder to fake than a screenshot and easier to understand than scattered online clues.
Can Pherify protect me from AI deepfakes, fake photos, or scam profiles? +
Pherify helps reduce your risk, but it does not guarantee that a scam can never happen. AI images, AI videos, copied photos, fake profiles, and edited screenshots can make someone appear real online. Pherify gives you a simple live proof step before you continue: ask the person for their live Pherify proof link, open it yourself, and check the current proof status.
Is Pherify an AI deepfake detector? +
No. Pherify is not an AI deepfake detector and does not claim to detect every AI image, AI video, fake account, or scam attempt. Pherify is a live proof checkpoint that helps you avoid relying only on screenshots, profile photos, messages, or videos that may be fake, copied, outdated, or AI-generated.
What does Pherify prove? +
Pherify can show live proof signals such as an active Pherify handle, connected social profiles, and review statuses available for that account. It helps confirm that a profile connection is being claimed through a live Pherify page.
What does Pherify not prove? +
Pherify does not prove that someone is honest, safe, risk-free, crime-free, or guaranteed to behave well in the future. It is a first-line proof tool, not a character guarantee, legal identity guarantee, or background check.
Is my private identity shown publicly? +
No. Your public Pherify proof page will not show your private identity details. Private ID images, selfie images, liveness videos, document numbers, address, date of birth, and other private review evidence will not be displayed on your public proof page. People who open your live Pherify page only see safe proof status labels, such as whether a proof signal is active, pending, completed, or unavailable.
Why do screenshots not count? +
Screenshots can lie. A screenshot can be old, edited, copied, cropped, or shared without context. A live Pherify page shows the current proof status directly from Pherify.
What is a Pherify handle? +
A Pherify handle is the live proof link people can ask you to share. For example, ✓/koldaman would point to a public proof page for that handle.
Why connect social media profiles? +
People often know you through Instagram, LinkedIn, X, Facebook, TikTok, or another profile. Connecting social profiles helps show that those profiles are tied to your Pherify proof handle.
What is BETA Social Proof Mode? +
BETA Social Proof Mode lets users claim a Pherify handle, connect social profiles, Pherify Ping, and share a live proof page while Pherify is still in BETA.
What is Complete Proof? +
Complete Proof is the next level of Pherify. It is designed for deeper proof workflows such as Real-Person Proof and Private ID Review when an account is eligible. It is not the default BETA Free experience.
Can Pherify prevent scams? +
Pherify helps reduce risk, but it does not guarantee safety or prevent every scam. If the situation involves money, romance, travel, hiring, business, legal decisions, or anything high-risk, use Pherify together with other safety steps.
What should I do if someone refuses to Pherify? +
You can slow down the conversation. Ask for a live proof link before you continue. If something feels rushed, confusing, emotional, secretive, or high-pressure, take extra caution.
Does the other person need a Pherify account? +
Yes. If someone does not have Pherify yet, they can create a free BETA handle and send you their live proof link.
Can I use Pherify for dating, business, hiring, or social media? +
Yes. Pherify is useful when you need a simple live proof step before trusting someone behind an online handle, profile, photo, video, or account.
