Retention supports trust, safety, audit visibility, and debugging.
What Pherify may retain
Pherify may retain account records, Pherify handle records, connected social profile records, private phone signal status, Ping History, invite activity, feature access records, consent records, proof review status, and audit events.
Why records may be kept
Records may be kept to operate the product, protect users, troubleshoot bugs, prevent abuse, support review decisions, maintain audit history, manage BETA access, and understand how the product is being used.
Ping History cleanup
Users may remove proof request messages from their visible history. Removing a request from Pherify history does not delete messages already copied, emailed, texted, posted, or shared outside Pherify.
Private proof evidence
Private proof evidence should be retained only as needed for review, security, dispute handling, legal obligations, fraud prevention, operational testing, or product improvement. Public pages should show safe status labels, not private evidence.
BETA period
During BETA, retention rules may evolve as Pherify learns what is necessary to operate safely and responsibly. The product should remain honest about what is collected, why it is used, and what is shown publicly.
